the event

On April 25th, our dear friend Daryl Oh hosted the YCA live show at Holyrad Studio in Brooklyn.

This exhibition featured the photography, painting, collage, video art, multimedia work, performance art, poetry, spoken word and live music of young artists of Color. Like the magazine, all of these pieces dealt with issues of race or racial identity in some way.

Below you can view each piece individually, along with photos from the event.

All images were provided by the very lovely Afiya Shani and Paul McLaren.
